I am running qmail 5 on an Fedora Core release 4 system, I am sending 1200 verified addresses and I need them to go out instantly.
all but between 400 and 100 are leaving instantly but that many are still sticking in the queue. ( This number is random... )

I realize that this is not the usual model regarding email, but the system I have build is for a Commodities Analyst and he is sending up to the minute recommendation that are very time sensitive and need Instant delivery within the limits of any email system

I am sending bulk emails via PHP script using data from MySQL. This works fine and 1100 emails are instantly being delivered. I am aware of the system resources and limitations but this is a queue, send, or inject problem within qmail where a random number usually around 400 - 100 are left in the queue and will not move until I kill the qmail_send process and the qmail scan starts it back up, instantly sending about 30 -50 more then hangs again. Repeat hack until queue is empty...

I have set the concurrencyoutgoing in the control file to 255 and changed the default before compile.
That speeds up the process a bit but still getting hung up as I said.

My SMTP relay server is at Godaddy and I am authorized for 20,00 daily emails and I expect a bit of a lag from that.
The thing is, I had this working for a month when I first set the server up with qmail replacing the PostFix server that was included on the box.
I was forced to move to an identical server and rebuild the email system using the same install and settings as the previous server.
This one hangs. I even purchased and rebuild a secondary identical server for backups and testing and this build does the exact same thing?
WTF???

I am trying to get to know qmail inside and out so I can check the logs and know where to look for the problem.
At this point I am a bit fuzzy on the logs IE: where and what to look for. I am trying to get a grip on that part now.
In the mean time I NEED THIS TO WORK again.

QUESTION: Are you saying there are no instant email delivery services and no one does this out there?
I need to know this and I need verifiable references.
I know this sounds unnecessary but to know this or not will allow us to go another route if necessary.

I know there are many options that will enhance the qmail send process and my dedicated server is more than sufficient for the tasks, but I am at a loss and need this for production Last week...

I NEED HELP!!!

Thank You!
